40 beautiful Yogis coming together this morning to see in the New Year......Zoom Yoga is about the only thing that isn’t cancelled at the moment so my virtual classes in January will hopefully add structure and positivity to 2021 Zoom Class Timetable Monday’s 7.30pm Tuesday’s 9am Saturday’s 9am
108 Sun Salutations completed although it was slightly different this year being on Zoom you were all amazing. Thank you for your generosity and support through this tough year it has been truly phenomenal and I’m proud of our yoga community. So far we have raised 1200.00 to support the Homeless in the UK Now it just remains for me to say have a restful Christmas

The last ‘live’ yoga class of 2020 will be on 23rd December and we will be looking at preparing for a mindful Christmas with some stress releasing and nourishing yoga sequences . As the winter solstice approaches the days are short and nights are long so it’s a good time for reflection, rest and introspection..... 2020 has taken its toll on us all.....I feel that I have had to overcome plenty of hurdles to be able to teach my passion of yoga to you all! If there has been one positive about this year it has made me have to think out of the box and evolve to teach yoga in different ways that a year ago I could never have imagined. New opportunities are coming my way now especially in the Corporate Sector where I can teach remotely to any location. This has enabled me to start teaching yoga to the staff at www.lego.com and other places which is awesome. There has been a huge influx of people taking up running during lockdown so I’m taking the opportunity to devote Saturday mornings class (tomorrow) 9am to pre and post running stretches. Don’t worry though this class is still beneficial if you loathe running!

10 minute Kindness Meditation
Meditation is intended to help us still the mind not to stop us thinking altogether, enabling us to keep focused upon constructive thoughts not negative and teach us to let go. It gives us space to check up on ourselves to become reacquainted with how it feels to live within our own bodies. There are a wide range of meditative techniques and you don’t have to sit cross legged surrounded by incense! Just find a technique that resonates with you. I am offering free 10 minute guided morning meditations every Thursday at 8.45am to help anyone that needs it The benefits are endless from relief from insomnia to lowering blood pressure and ability to focus it’s scientifically approved
